I have been nominated for the Heart FM Business Mother of the Year Award category in the Devon & Cornwall Venus Awards. I am a semi finalist – voting is open until Tuesday 5th – voting and sharing is much appreciated!
I’m so honoured to be nominated for this award – after being widowed with a tiny baby, I have spent the last seven years working to build both a fulfilling family life and rewarding career, to show my daughter what is possible for her future. The support I needed back then just wasn’t there, so I started my own network to help as many women as possible find the confidence and skills to thrive in their own journeys of balancing family and work life. I had no idea just what an incredible impact the network would make in the lives of the women that I’m privileged to work with, and this nomination is a wonderful endorsement of what can be achieved when we come together as a supportive community.
