I am a very, very lucky girl. I know this. I have some very thoughtful and generous friends.
On Friday, when we gathered for our team meeting, I was delighted to be presented with a copy of Karen’s book. She had mentioned previously that she had self published a book of her watercolours and of course we had asked to see it, but she is so very humble about her talent that I don’t think any of us expected to actually see one!
I knew she was a wildlife artist, and I have seen hares and deer, but I did not know she did heartbreakingly endearing dogs like this little spaniel pup, nor did I know that she had painted my majestic favourite of the beasts!
As some of you know, I am also working on a book, and I think we all know who I’m hoping will do my cover!
